No, Elite Plus members are not eligible for free room upgrades when they book an Expedia Unpublished Rate Hotel that happens to also be a VIP Access hotel. However, our hotel partners can only give room upgrades when Elite Plus members book VIP hotels as an Expedia Special Rate hotel. If you are not sure if your VIP Access hotel qualifies, look for “Expedia Special Rate” under the name of the hotel shown in the hotel search results.
