Are high school honors courses weighted in favor of the grade point average and what is the minimum GPA required?
We take regents, honors and AP courses into consideration but do not re-weight the high school average. The minimum GPA for regular admission is 80; the minimum GPA for admission into the BS in Marine Science is 85. Special exceptions may apply. The average high school GPA of the incoming Fall 2000 class was 87.65. Admission criteria are subject to change.
