Are imagine studies (eg, a MRI) necessary before getting Prolotherapy?
Not usually. There are very few cases when obtaining an image prior to the injections would be helpful. A good history of your condition taken by Dr. Neustadt and an excellent orthopedic physical examination are the most useful indicators for determining whether someone is a candidate for Prolotherapy.
