BPI/MS offers two types of coverage to protect you from such liabilities while using your vehicle. 1.Compulsory Third Party Liability (CTPL) – Basic insurance coverage required by law for the registration of your vehicle. CTPL covers liabilities from accidents resulting to death, disablement and medical expenses of a person injured because of an accident involving your vehicle. 2.Voluntary Third Party Liability-Bodily Injury (VTPL-BI) – This serves as an additional coverage to your basic CTPL. This will answer for expenses in excess of CTPL’s coverage limit.
