In developing the system-wide percentiles reported in Technical Report 9, we have limited information regarding the demographics of the students and schools. The data were generated based upon all of the students currently in the data system, so we cannot guarantee it matches your local situation nor to national demographics. Considering the very large sample of students (number of student per grade average over 20,000) in the sample, a reasonable interpretation would be that the sample is similar to most schools across the country.
