Are Nemex tabs (found at farm supply stores) safe and effective for removing roundworms in dogs?
Nemex does work very well, but is the *weaker version* of the same thing that the Vet will administer. If you decide to go with the Nemex, make sure you follow the directions. It’s not just a one time deal. You will have to de-worm again in another 2 weeks, and I believe another 3 weeks after that. Since your dog is actually puking up the worms, it must have a very heavy infestation. In this case, I would get the meds from the Vet to have the *full strength* effect on the dog.
