Fruits and vegetables may not hold the nutrients they used to. New research from the federal government found the nutritional content of America’s fruits and vegetables have fallen in the past 50 years. The U.S. Department of Agriculture said six of 13 nutrients showed noticeable declines, Local 4 reported. Experts blame the trend toward crops that grow faster and larger for the decline.
