A. the only pets permitted in the residence halls by students are non-meat eating fish (self contained in water). Failure to comply with removing pets from residence halls will result in a $25 fine and confiscation of the pet.

Pets are not allowed in University owned facilities. The ONLY exception to the rule is fish kept in a 30-gallon aquarium of 10-gallons or less of water.

For health and sanitation reasons, the only pets allowed in the residence halls at any time are non-poisonous, non-walking fish in covered aquariums, seeing eye dogs, guide dogs and simian aids. The University can not be responsible for power outages which may cause harm to some fish.

• Some small fish are acceptable if approved by a Collegium Member. Small fish must be kept in a tank that is smaller than 10 gallons.
