Are Repco Defys good BMX bikes?

For a 12yr old boy who is only using the thing for transport, it’ll do. I wouldn’t pay over $200 for the thing, though. (That’s Aussie dollars, btw. Not sure where ur from) If the 12yr old is someone who might take BMX-ing seriously and look to use his bike for street or park riding as a hobby, then I would pay a little more, and invest in something a little more reputable, with brand names such as Fly, Stolen, WTP, as these bikes are going to be more heavy-duty, and capable of withstanding more punishment. If you can indicate which country you are from, I can give you a link to an online store with these reputable brands, and a list of all the bikes they offer. But at the end of the day, if all you want to do is give him a means of transport, then the Repco will do the job just fine.
