Tom, I see where you’re coming from. There are tragedies happening everyday in the US and in the World that are WAY more important than celebs babies…however, people need a release every now and then. If all we concentrated on were horrific daily events we’d all be extremely depressed and very miserable people. I watch the news EVERY morning and every night when I get home and to be honest it begins to become mundane. I am tired of hearing political candidates bash each other and tell us all what we already know, I am sad about the war but there is nothing I can do short of sending a care package and I didn’t vote for Bush, I feel for the people in Darfur and wish I could help but I can barely pay my own bills with Michigan economy the way it is, I am distraught by the daily mistreatment of other humans and animals but honestly there is not a whole lot I feel like I can do at this point.
