ARE THE 2010 VANCOUVER OLYMPICS A TERRORIST TARGET?
The Olympics are potential targets and have been since the Israelis where slaughtered in Munich. All large congregations of people, especially if it’s a happy, celebratory type of thing, have to be considered as potential targets. All the football bowl games and the championship game were also treated as potential targets. The Rose Parade and Bowl game are just a few miles from us and even though it’s not publicized, a lot of security was in place… and it’s always a relief when everything goes on without a hitch. The upcoming SuperBowl is a potential target. And the Vancouver Games will be one, too.
