Are the 300series products fitted with strainers or non-return valves?

No. These items are usually fitted to protect meters. As the 300series family does not have any moving parts and the fluid path is a simple flow tube the same diameter as the external fitting, these precautions are not necessary. If regulations demand these items, it is clearly better to fit them as extras as blockage of strainers and failure of non-return valves are common. Clearly maintenance of these as separate items means the meter is not interfered with. Click here to return to the list of questions.
