Course work external to the department may be allocated towards one’s degree progress as free elective coursework meets the following criteria and has approval of the Media, Culture, and Communication MA Graduate Director: 1. It is directly related to one’s course of study within the the Media, Culture, and Communication MA, 2. it is graduate-level course work, and 3. one has met the pre-requisites and there is space in the course proposed.
