At SUNY Cortland, all of the residence halls are co-ed. Most low rises are co-ed by floor, which means that usually half of a floor is male and the other half is female. Double rooms are occupied by two students of the same gender (sex). Co-ed floors have a female-designated and male-designated bathroom.

While we say that some of our residence halls are co-ed, men and women do NOT share floors or bathroom space. They may live in the same building, but there are locked doors between them.

Yes, but each floor is separated by gender. For example, in one building, the guys reside on the first floor so the ladies will be on the second floor. However, floors that have a suite-style set-up are co-ed.

None of the residence halls on Louisiana Tech’s campus are co-ed. The University Park and Park Place apartments house both male and female students, but only students of the same sex may reside in the same apartment.
