Are the various certificates issued by NWML in the “public domain”?

Type Approval Certificates are issued by NWML on behalf of the Secretary of State. NWML arranges for their publication and distribution. They are subject to Crown copyright. EC NAWI Certificates, MID Certificates and UK National Certificates are published on the NWML website: http://www.nwml.gov.uk/content.aspx?SC_ID=245. Test Certificates are not in the “public domain” as they are considered to belong to the manufacturer or organisation that paid for the work to be carried out. OIML Certificates of Conformity are registered with BIML and particulars published in their Bulletins and on their website http://www.oiml.
