Are the waters attractive for diving and snorkeling?
Because of an unusual confluence of currents, Panama’s Pacific Ocean waters are surprisingly warm. Isla Boca Brava (3,600 HA), Isla Parida (2,000 HA) and the other islands of the archipelago just off the coast at Boca Chica, are perfect for diving and snorkeling. The snorkeling in these waters is so good, that you may decide you don’t need to dive. Like the other islands of Panama, there are no loads of tourists, so you enjoy snorkeling in virtually pristine waters.
