Are there any animals that eat pine needles?
A number of animals, including rabbits, cats, dogs and mice will eat pine needles if given an opportunity. They shouldn’t as it isn’t overly good for them. A particular problem on farms is cows that eat pine needles that will spontaneously lose their embryos. Follow the link for details.
