Are there any herbal remedy recipes to rid your system of sedative drugs or to reverse narcotic effects?
No. If there are, none have been validated scientifically. Herbs may contain hundred’s of bioactive chemicals (ie drugs) that may have unpredictable and potentially harmful interactions with drugs in your system already. Some herbs are toxic. Just because something is “natural” doesn’t mean it can’t be harmful. There are specific “antidotes”, or reversal agents. For opioid narcotics it’s naloxone, and for benzodiazepines its flumazenil. These are available in Emergency Rooms for serious overdoses and aren’t available to the general public.
