Are there any issues associated with latency or “image lossiness” with the V2O and V2D?
. Both platforms have been designed to provide high quality video/graphics transport with minimal latency. Since the V2O performs no electronic processing on input video/graphics streams it transports video in a lossless mode and contributes a negligible amount of latency to transmitted video- only 150 µs over a 3 km span. Real time electronic processing in the form of data compression and decompression is a key feature of the V2D. Most customers report virtually no visual artifacts and latency of only a few frames under most operating conditions.
