Are there any limitations in using multiple Saffire PRO 10 i/os as a larger system?
The maximum number you can use is three. Using three will also require a lot of CPU and be very demanding on the Firewire bandwidth (156 channels in total with all digital i/o enabled!). There is a User Guide addendum available that gives detailed information of how to connect and use multiple Saffire PROs with your computer. It is highly recommended that external power supplies are employed when using multiple Saffire PROs Q: Can I use a mixture of Saffire PRO 10s and 26s together.
