There are meteor showers on Mars and since the atmosphere of Mars is a lot thinner than Earth’s, watching one may be very dangerous. The falling meteors don’t burn up as quickly and some cause “violent explosions” when they blow up in midair. The robots are expected, however, to not be in harms way.
