My son returned from the north of the island on Monday and the beaches were beautifully white and sandy.I am not sure where Puerto Plata is located but I do know both my son and his partner got violent food poisoning so be careful what you eat.Apparently the Dominican Republic is renowned for poor food hygiene.Hope you don’t mind me warning you.Enjoy you’re holiday.
