Yes. Some dog breeds have been promoted as hypoallergenic, because they shed very little hair and dander. For allergy sufferers, a hypoallergenic dog may enable them to have a pet in their home, whereas most pets can make their lives miserable. However, no dog is known to be completely non allergenic.
