Are there plans to make the CSM switch fabric enabled?
A. The CSM is a bus enabled linecard and therefore not switch fabric enabled.This is under consideration for future releases but it is not currently on the roadmap, as it will require a hardware change. However, the current CSM release is compatible with Sup2 and can operate in a switch with Switch Fabric Module and switch fabric enabled cards.
