Are there problems with removing (tearing) the plastic trash bags?

This round trash bin seems a space saver compared to the rectangular one. However, I have seen reviews that state the plastic bags get caught on the inside of the can while removing which tears the bag because the can is not smooth where the bag fits in. Has anyone had this problem and/or is this not a severe problem? A round can would serve my purpose better but I do not want to have a problem every time I remove the full bag. Thanks in advance for your responses.
