• No, but Canada has been active in developing approaches to promote CSR principles throughout the Hemispheric Summit Process. As CSR is a relatively new issue for most governments in the Hemisphere, Canada’s goal has been to build support amongst governments for consideration of the issue within the broader Summit of the Americas process. • Canada was instrumental in securing text on CSR in the Quebec Summit Action Plan of April 2001.
