There are a few in stations in large cities and also in places like Fort William served by overnight sleeper trains. However there are not many of these, and they are relatively expensive. In rural areas some public toilets have showers. This is not very common, and only in areas that are popular for camping, and well away from large towns where they would get vandalised. I have seen these in the Western Isles, coin operated costing £1. Some hotels will let you use a shower for a fee. This is mainly in areas where yachts visit. (The hotel wants to attract people staying in £100k yachts, not £100 tents!). There would be no harm in asking in an old style hotel (not one where all rooms are ensuite). Similarly you could ask at hostels or campsites. Swimming pools or other council run sports facilities are probably the best bet around the country, and may be cheaper than station showers.
