Are there tags that read comma-delimited files?
Yes. Using the COPY tag you can load data from any comma-delimited file into a variable array (table) for use in the HTML page. You can use Overlay Tags (Otags) to modify any table, display it on the page, build select boxes, HTML tables, lists, etc.., or combine the table with other tables. There are Otags for summing values in specified columns, sorting data, searching and performing many other tasks. There are also Otags for writing to comma delimited files and reading data from other kinds of delimited files. Note: For larger databases of up to a million records, Aestiva HTML/OS includes a quick indexing tool that allows sub-second search and copy of data from a database into a table. A point-and-click application called dbConsole is available in the WebXess Freeware Library for setting up and managing databases.
