The agency is pleased to provide lawful living expenses to birthparents in need of pregnancy related assistance. In some cases, it is appropriate to follow the laws of her state. At other times, the procedures call for the agency to follow the laws of the state where the adoption will be finalized, which is usually where the adoptive family resides.
