Are wires and drafts sent in foreign currency?
You can send wires and drafts in foreign currency or U.S. dollars. The OceanPay Wire Service offers wholesale conversion to most foreign currencies throughout the world. It is highly recommended that you send your wires and drafts in foreign currency. Your bank will charge you additional fees if the wire is sent in U.S. dollars and it will take longer to settle to your account. You can view the conversion rates prior to ordering your wire or draft by selecting “Quote” after your order has been created. You can also send U.S. dollar wires if your account at home is maintained in U.S. dollars.
