If you are looking for journal articles on a particular topic, you will need to use a journal index to locate appropriate articles. A popular starting point finding magazines is Periodical Abstracts, which covers a little bit of everything. If you want in-depth research on a topic, you will probably need to use a more specialized journal index. The OSU libraries has access to over 100 databases for specific disciplines. To find the most appropriate database, click on the SUBJECT LIST of “other online tools”. You can then select a database that appears most appropriate to your topic.
