As a rest of state applicant, what should the “Site Name” in the CTIP be titled?
The site name should be “Rest of [enter state name].” We are a state applicant, applying on behalf of the rest of the state, not including large counties. We have a long working relationship with federally recognized tribes located in our state, and together we plan to collaboratively apply as a “rest of the state not including large counties” applicant, including tribes located in our state, in our application. We are securing letters of support from all tribes included in our application. We want to be sure that applying for the “rest of the state not including large counties” does allow us to apply on behalf of the tribes we are applying with, and that applying together with tribes will not make us nonresponsive to the FOA. Can you please clarify whether a “rest of the state not including large counties” application that includes tribes, is responsive to this FOA? A funded state is responsible for implementing the program in all areas of the state not separately eligible for funding
