As an employer, can I appeal a determination regarding my liability under the Unemployment Insurance Law?
You have a right to request a hearing if you disagree with a determination regarding your liability as an employer or the amount of tax due. Your request for a hearing must be in writing, and must be received by the Department within 30 days of the mailing date of the determination. Your hearing request must explain the exact reason for your protest.
