My first question would be why your son is listed as the baby’s father on the birth certificate in the first place? Were the two of them dating at the time, and he was truly believed to be the father, or was this girl trying to make someone responsible for her child knowing full well that he wasn’t the father? I would say get an accurate blood test done through a local hospital/DNA center to prove paternity (don’t just take the woman’s word for it). How awful for your son to have to endure something like this! I cannot imagine going through the entire pregnancy process and the first five months of a child’s life to then find out that the child wasn’t mine (and a the holidays at that). Is this mother young? Why is she ripping the child away at her whim? She needs to grow up and take some responsibility herself and create a healthy life for that little baby of hers.
