• Yes. A housing authority may disclose personal information for the purpose of complying with an enactment of Alberta or Canada according to section 40(1)(e) of the FOIP Act. • If a landlord is unable to serve a person referred to in section 30(1) or 33(1) of the Residential Tenancy Act, by reason of the person’s absence or the person’s evading service, service may be effected by posting the notice in a conspicuous place on some part of the premises in accordance with section 57(4) of the Residential Tenancy Act.
