Can a user control for how long mail is stored in their Deleted Folder?

In the Options page (for Mail), a user can set the Deleted Folder Expiry Time (in days). When an email has been in the Deleted folder for this number of days, it is removed automatically . Alternatively, they can check the Empty Deleted option so that their deleted folder is emptied whenever they log out.
