Can any Intex pump be used to empty the pool?

No. Intex pumps are not designed for this purpose, with the exception of the Model M1 – 300 GPH pump which has a drain function. For draining purposes, only this particular model pump can be used with any Intex Above Ground Pool in order to drain small amounts of water remaining in the pool.
