For transferring data from one place two another three modes are used. These modes are simplex mode, half duplex mode and full duplex mode. Simplex mode is used for remote device which receive bit does not send. Simple mode is not widely used because it is not possible to confirm successful transmission of data. In simplex mode data is either sent or received, there is no confirmation of data transmission. Half duplex mode can be transmitted in both directions but only in one direction at a time. In half duplex mode data can be received and sent alternatively. For confirmation of successful data transmission return path is provided. In duplex mode two way transmissions is possible but it cannot take place concurrently. Data transmission rate slows down because each time for sending or receiving data direction is reversed. Full duplex mode is used to transmit data in both directions simultaneously. It is faster mode for data transmission. In the half duplex, the circuit of the terminal
