Can anyone give me some advice on getting a kitten/ kittens?
Definitely get two cats! Without a doubt, they’ll be best friends and play all day. Although it’s more expensive to have two cats it’s worth it. Also male cats tend to be better hunters so if you can, try and rescue two brothers from a shelter. They are MUCH cheaper to have neutered as well – £25 each and it’s a simple op so they are back on their feet the same day. We rescued 2 kittens, both boys but sadly they got run over on a country road near our house – in exactly the same spot 🙁 We live in the most rural area you can imagine so you can never tell what’s going to happen. Anyway, we then got two more kittens and tried keeping them inside but they just meowed by the window which broke my heart so now they go out but never far 😀 They play all day in the long grass – they are not related so they don’t sleep together but they wash each other and are VERY sweet. I would definately NOT get one cat on its own. Our two cats (now 1) don’t go anywhere near the cars so I am less anxious ab
