1st of all I wouldn’t recommend going to Bruges too many tourists and also tourist trap for most bars and restaurants (if you have a choice try Antwerp or Ghent instead just as nice but not chockfull of Americans and Japanese) 1 good tip though is a little Irish theme pub called celtic Ireland just outside of the central square while restoring the pub they actually dug up medieval ruins and the owners decided to put glass tiles under the bar so you can see them As for Brussels 1st advice DON’T LET Yourself get caught into one of the restaurants near the Rue Des bouchers way overprised and not worth it. If you really want a typical taste of brussels just outside the historic centre (it’s reachable on foot) you have the Vossenplein/place Jeu des balles where they hold a flea market every morning The square is surrounded by a lot of typical cafés where you can eat and drink typical foods at reasonable price (When in Brussels try the Gueuze or kriek beer lovely stuff) Furthermore you have
