Can anyone tell what muscle car is the best ?
yOU ARE BUYING THE WRONG CARS FOR THE WRONG REASONS.Muscle cars got lousy mileage because they used a lot of fuel, but gas was cheap, I screamed when leaded premium wnt up to $0.37/ GALLON. The cars were slow by today’s performance standards of top line performers but they were made for drag racing, lots of torque and gears. There are no more cobras only kits and a basic kit is twice the price of the whole car, but then $6,000 was a lot of money. There is NO best car, everybody could choose their own, most started as basic coupes, The Mustang was really a re skinned Falcon econo car, Falcon frame and suspension, off the shelf seats, and the 260 V8 was new to the whole Ford line, The big Galaxies had a 352,390, and 406 big engines.. Some TV show just said the Olds 442 was the best handling and 2nd oldest of the middle size cars, bigger than the mustang, like the Pontiac GTO or Chevelle, my favorite was the 66 Chevy II sport coupe.
