Yes: it depends both on the mass of the planet that you are on, your distance from the center of the planet, and a bit on the local density of the ground below you. In the case of the Earth, at sea level, the average acceleration due to gravity is 9.8 m/s2, while on the Moon, it is about 6 times smaller than this due to the Moon’s mass and average radius.
