Can Behavior Modification Really Help In Child Behavior Problems ?
Author: Robert William Locke The Welsh Assembly wants a ‘Parenting Champion’ who will ensure that parents are getting enough support and advice in the difficult task of bringing up their children. This has sparked off a heated debate in Wales and the UK. Opposing opinions state that parents are just forgetting their responsibilities in rearing kids and that they expect the social services and teachers to do the job. Children need love and a supporting structure including discipline within their family life. But it is not that easy as parents do not know how to impose discipline or structure and it is here that behavior modification , therapy or family therapy can really help in resolving child behaviour problems and at the end of the day,the society we live in. Let’s face it. The way we are brought up has a profound effect on our adult behaviour, our relationships, our work ethics, our morals and how we approach life generally.
