Can Bionector cause a Latex Allergic Reaction?

0

The membrane of Bionector is made with Dry Natural Rubber. The manufacturing process for Dry Natural Rubber destroys the natural proteins, which cause Immediate Hypersensitivity (Type 1 reaction). Bionector also contains none of the processing agents associated with the less severe Delayed Hypersensitivity (Type 4 reaction). Bionector has also been subjected to the most stringent independent testing for Latex Allergenicity, and it has being proven to be Non-sensitising. For an explanation of the differences between Latex and Dry Natural Rubber you can visit our Customer Support Section of this site. Under Product information there is a document entitled ” Vygon Products with Latex ” and this explains the differences.
