Can boy/girl scouts earn art badges at Sawtooth?
Earn your art-related scout badges at SSVA. We offer two- and three-hour workshops for all ages of scouts. The Cub Scout badge offered is “Be an Artist” (making arrowpoints). Boy Scouts can choose from a pottery badge and/or the photography badge. Brownies can try “Art to Wear”, “Colors and Shapes”, and/or “Puppets, Dolls, and Plays”. Junior Girl Scouts can achieve badges in drawing and painting, printmaking, and sculpture, while Girl Scouts can take ceramics, drawing, and painting, folk art, jewelry making, photography, prints and graphics, or visual arts. Call the youth coordinator at 723-7395 or email youngart@sawtooth.org to arrange a time and date for your scout badge workshop.
