Can ClearSync be used through a firewall or proxy server?

0

Synchronization with the ClearSync Server will work with most firewall / proxy server configurations that allow Internet communications through standard HTTP over port 80. ClearSync also recognizes most standard “authentication” requests that require you to enter a user name, password, & network domain in order to access the Internet. However, there may be some configurations that ClearSync does not yet accommodate. If your firewall / proxy server is set to allow HTTP over port 80 in both directions and you’re still having difficulties synchronizing with the ClearSync Server, setting a Proxy Exception as described below may help. If doing so doesn’t resolve the problem, please contact ClearSync Support for assistance.
