Can committee members be reimbursed for expenses?
Although committee members are not entitled to compensation for their time in serving on the committee, the Court may authorize reimbursement for “necessary” expenses incurred in the performance of their duties as committee members. Expenses are paid from the debtor’s assets, but only to the extent of available funds. Further details will be discussed at the committee formation meeting.
