Can deaf become a flight attendant.. or another position that works in the airport?

A deaf person cannot be a flight attendant. One of the jobs of a flight attendant is to communicate quickly and efficiently in emergencies with both the flight crew and the passengers. ASL (or any other countrie’s variant) just doesn’t lend itself to that. However, one could easily become a gate agent or other customer service representative.
