It is generally not recommended while RecoveryMagic is installed that you run from within windows any disk analysis program (such as or ScanDisk and Disk defragmenter or any similar disk management programs), or reformat your disk with Fdisk. However, as long as such utilities do not damage RecoveryMagic’s backup file in MBR area, they could be used. If you need to use these disk utilities, uninstall RecoveryMagic first, then run these utilities. When you have finished then reinstall RecoveryMagic and create a fresh recovery or restore point.
