Can drinking alcohol while pregnant cause an abortion ?
It’s really unfortunate that your girlfriend would stoop that low as to attempt to snuff her baby’s life out via drinking and smoking. I’m hoping that this is one of those of those fake questions… but if it’s not, get your girlfriend to the ob/gyn and have her begin prenatal care to keep herself and the baby healthy. If she’s not ready to have a baby, she shouldn’t have had sex. Discuss adoption, since it’s the humane way of dealing with this situation. Having had a miscarriage, I find it tasteless that a woman would fathom doing such a thing.
If she drinks enough alcohol it can cause death. (of both her and the baby.) It is called binge drinking. She would have to drink alot, but it can happen. Yes, if she does keep the baby it can cause mental problems if she drinks. You sound like you think she might keep this baby. Juno is a great movie, if you haven’t seen it. Not sure if is still out in the movies. I think it might be coming out any time on DVD. You should suggest that she see it(maybe with you?). It sounds like if she were to become convinced to have it, she would not want to raise it. You need to be honest with her about how you feel about the situation. If you would break up with her if she had an abortion, you need to tell her. Very important to be honest with your soul mate. That’s all.
